Prologue
It is Sunday and the world is in panic. World population: 5,000,000 and dropping.
It is noon. Sunday, March 1 2020. The people have failed to expect the unexpected. Disaster has happened. All over the world , buses have disappeared and are still doing so. There have even been a few reports of a few cars and one train but nobody can prove them right. It could be the panic that have caused those tales. Buses are rare at this moment and very few ride the world. Buses gone missing. People gone missing. Tons of questions, no answers. Nobody knows how, where or why. The mystery has stumped humanity.
Here is how it began:
“We interrupt this program for a special news flash. A very important matter has come to our attention and we would like to warn you for this.” A fairly old man sat in front of a desk. His hair was a mess and so were his clothes. It was very clear that he had only just been put in front of the screen and that this was a live broadcast. The expression on his face however, was one of fear and anxiety. The normally so gentle and friendly looking newsreader was everything but himself at this moment. “Today is February 29 2020. It is one o’clock in the afternoon and quite warm here in the city of London. Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, thank you for watching this. A special report has come to our attention. There have been reports from all over the world, that people are advised to stay away from public transport. Since this morning, all over the worlds buses have gone missing. Several buses have been seen departing to take people and have not been seen ever since. Others have just disappeared halfway their track. Even as we speak, reports are coming in of missing buses. The people who have stepped on board or who have taken the bus have disappeared along with them. The police suspects a terrorist group that is working on a worldwide attack, but everybody refuses to give any information. We would strongly advice you not to take any form of public transport until further notice. I repeat, everybody is strongly advised not to use any kind of public transport until further notice. We will try to keep you updated. Thank you.”
What people did not know was that the big attack still had to come. This were still random reports of buses being missing. A big explosion of missing buses came around 5pm, when everybody was going back home. Students, workmen, … This was the moment the weirdest disappearances were reported.
This time the guy looked even worse. “Good evening ladies and gentlemen. It is half past 5 in the evening and at the moment terribly things are unfolding. Authorities request that everybody stays inside and avoid the bus at all costs. Buses all over the world have been massively disappearing. Sightings of buses going up in thin air, vanishing in a bright flash or a puff of smoke, buses turning into a gigantic bubble which burst and disappeared. Busses becoming ghostlike vague and so on. Try imagine it and it probably happened. Nobody can tell where they are going, or why they disappear. People all over the world are getting in distress and panic has broken loose among the people. Tons of reports of missing people have been sent in. Hundreds of millions of people have vanished without a trace. Please stay at home and avoid any bus at all costs. Bus companies are requested to pull back every single bus and not use them anymore until everything is solved. As soon as we have more news, we will tell you. Goodnight.”
That was yesterday night. But buses kept riding, even if it were only to escape and go back to the main bus garage where they were put away. Buses packed with people and buses with only the driver. Almost all of them vanished. But nobody could solve this riddle.

Plot
(as this is a plot inspired a bit by the game of ‘Oblivion’, I would like to mention them. This strange world could be compared a bit to the plains of oblivion. They aren’t the same, but it’s close.)
As said, to the world, it is a terrible mystery where the buses have disappeared to, but to the ones inside it is much less of a mystery. For those buses do turn up again. They end up in a land that is far but known to the earthen people as it is a whole different world. A world that is desert-like. You might even think of Mars first, with the craters and such, but it is not the planet Mars. For this one has high grass on varied places. It has trees full of thorns. Trees made from plantlike blades. All of them colored in a nasty red color that almost make it look as if it was made from blood. There were few signs that there ever had been life. Gigantic walls that have been built. Everlasting burning towers risen from the ground. Black spikes and thorns coming from the surface, pointing into every direction. The sun is colored the same way as the plants, casting a bloody light over the world and the three moons that float nearby the world.
But the place where the buses themselves appear is a very empty space. Dark black colored sand everywhere. The only thing nearby is something that looks like an old shack and a gigantic field with things that seems to be eatable. Nobody knows what it is though. It looks like a giant darkblue apple. There are a few issues though. The busses look as if they have fallen from the air, stacked into a huge pile. Some in the sand, some on top of each other, as if they were thrown away carelessly on a gigantic dump. When they end there, some actually do fall from the sky. Some are spit out by the earth, some just appear. It seems very random. Some stand nicely on their wheels while some are upside down, on the sides, perhaps straight on the nose. Some are completely crumbled as if it were a piece of paper. The second strange thing is that it seems that in each bus, only one single person ends up on the planet. The other people have vanished . The only thing that is left of them are everything they had with them. The clothes they wore, the jewelry, bags, everything left in the bus. The bodies themselves are gone. Only one of the people ends up in the strange world with everything they had with them. They are cast away with the bus.
It also seems that each of them experiences it in a strange way and mostly unique way. While some experience the disappearance and reappearance as a quiet calm trip, others are being spun around. Others have the feeling being skinned alive, turned inside out and being thrown into the pile of buses. It also causes that not all of them survive the weird trip to the ‘bus canyon’, as the place is being called. There are several buses (especially the crumbled ones) that are seen arriving with a corpse. Some even appear with blood dripping from a tiny hole on the side somewhere. It is therefor not surprising that a horrible smell rises from the bus canyon.
The world also seems to have a different passing of time. While in this world a day passes, only six hours have passed on earth, meaning that there are buses arriving every hour. There are lots of people hiding in the bus canyon. But much less than have arrived there. Stories are told from the ones who have been there for days now. Tales of strange happenings. Tales of horrifying situations. Tales of torture, blood, horror, terror, death. Tales of strange creatures.
But then they learn more about these creatures. They learn of a skull…

FAQ Q:Tell me more about this time difference. A: Well, it isn’t all too hard. For each day that passes in the other world, 6 hours have passed here. So if a day has passed on earth, 4 days have passed in the other world. Think of it like this: Earth …………………………….Other world Midnight……………………….Start Day 1 6 am ……………………………..Start Day 2 Noon …………………………….Start Day 3 6 pm …………………………….Start Day 4 Midnight next day…………Start Day 5 .. and so on. Q: how many characters am I allowed to have? A: Try to keep the maximum to three. I don’t quite see any reason for needing more, except if you plan of having them all killed But if you would like more, just send me a pm and we’ll talk about it no problem! Q: I could have an idea for a plot twist or so!! A: That’s awesome! I love that Be sure to let me know your idea. If I like it, I’ll try to get it into the plot Q:Mid.. you’re godmodding... A: Ack.. sorry, just tell me and I’ll drop it off a bunch. It’s the first time I’m opening one of these plots with a steady plot and a big bad guy, so it’s a bit had. So if you catch me on this, just let me know ^^ I don’t mean to godmod =/ Q: Will this roleplay be on earth or the other planet: A: It’ll take entirely place on the other planet. The only times the earth is mentioned as the current place where things take place is in the beginning (the intro’s, before the disappearances), in nostalgic moments with flashbacks and perhaps in the end, but who knows about that last part eh

(( Gang username: _midnight_ Name: David Gerangro, but always called DG. Pronunciation: Day-vit Gee-Rah-ng-gro // Dee-Gee Gender: Male Age: 21 Appearance: N/A Personality: N/A Origin: England, city of London. History: N/A Alone in bus: No. he was together with his film crew and some of his main actors Why take the bus: He was returning home after a long exhausting day of shooting scenes of a huge movieproject he is working on at the moment. They were staying at an hotel all together, where Silvia, DG’s girlfriend, was waiting for him. ))
“Look, honey, it’s just two hours. Yes, yes I know, I’m terribly sorry, I know I promised but it’s a big project. We have to shoot this. After that, I will be home instantly, I promise. I’m really sorry honey. I’ll make up for it, I promise… Aww.. that’s sweet. Thanks Silvia, i.. it means a lot to me. Thank you. Okay, see you in a little moment. Bye bye! I love you too honey.” A twenty-one year old youngman laid down his cell phone and put it into his pocket after releasing a sigh. “She doesn’t like this, but I’m afraid it’ll have to be like this,” he said to another guy who had a really large camera on his shoulder. Then he looked back at the group of people in front of him. “Okay, people, two more hours and then we can go home. Okay! Let’s do this! Scène twelve. Marc, I need you for this one.”
The shooting went on quite fast. People were motivated to go home. At 4 o’clock in the afternoon they would finally be able to go home and nobody was complaining. They had begun shooting film at the location at three am and everybody was terribly tired. Especially DG. He was the one who was responsible for the whole project. As the director of a new movie called ‘bloodchain’, he had to think about almost everything about everything that happened in and around the set or that had to do with it. He and his girlfriend had been together for four years now and they had been planning to celebrate it this afternoon. The shooting was foreseen to be finished by noon, but it had been two hours since then, with nobody quite liking it. It was taking four hours longer than expected and still Silvia was the one who liked it the least.
Around quarter to four, the last scène was finally shot and DG looked at everyone with a smile. “Okay, everybody, that’s it for today. Let’s get these attributes in the chests and costumes safe. And let’s go home.” “DG, man, how about the lights?” “Ah, don’t worry about them. We’ll be in here tomorrow morning as well. It’ll save time and we’ll don’t have the things we’re having today. For now, we’ll just go home and leave this until tomorrow.” He patted the guy on the shoulder and smiled. Finally, home to Silvia.
He looked at the actors, who were on their way to the places to change clothes, the cameramen and the rest of the crew who were placing everything in crates and chests for safekeeping. Those were instantly loaded into the minibus which could contain just enough people: Fourteen crewmen and six actors. “Alright,” he yelled to them as they were almost ready. “Let’s get these last chests loaded in and get into the bus. It’ll do us all good!”
It didn’t took all too long before they were in the bus. Five past four pm. It seemed they had ended faster than the day before. As he stepped into the bus as the last person, seeing most of the others leaving by car, he looked up to the fellow crewmen in the bus. “Good work, guys. I appreciate your help.” He said once before sitting down. The humoristic answer had come directly “well, ya ain’t payin’ us for nothin’ are ya!”, which had caused all of them to laugh hard.
But it did not long before the madness started. They were in the bus about fifteen minutes. They driving trough some abandoned roads towards he hotel. They knew that if they took the main roads to get to the hotel in the center of the city of London, they would be stuck in traffic jams around now. Perhaps it was a mistake. Most of the rest had fallen asleep and even DG was getting trouble staying awake. It was strange. Although it was only quarter past 4 pm and it was getting terribly dark. It was as if the sun was disappearing. Until not even one piece of light entered the bus on through any window. The driver stopped. He cursed loudly as DG stepped towards him. “Hey, hush a bit. The rest is sleeping. What on earth name’s happening ? Is it a solar eclipse or something?” The driver shook his head. “Not until a few years, sir. It’s strange.. as if-“
He stopped in the middle of the sentence as he felt as if the bus was lifted brutally. Everybody was thrown up against the ceiling and the driver hit his head hard against one of the tubes above him, knocking him out. His head was bleeding. DG was landed back on the floor after hitting the ceiling and cursed loud. He looked at the others. None of them were moving. The panic started to burst through his head as he ran towards them. “Marc? Eduardo? Michael? In heaven’s name, speak to me!!” Than the bus moved forwards all of a sudden, hitting the back of the bus hard. Quickly after that, he was thrown against the side of the bus, hard. The bus moved horribly wild as if it were driving over rocks. He opened his eyes again, seeing a terrible face in front of him. It looked like a gigantic bug. A monster. Than it was gone. As if it were just a flash though his mind. Than everything went black in front of his eyes and he collapsed, landing on the hard floor. A watch laying next to his head, rolling away from him.

Gang username: Nick Name: Nick Grey Pronunciation: Nihk-Gr-ay Gender: Male Age: 18 Appearance: Brown hair that's brushed back constantly, with hazel eyes and a "cute" face. He always wears a mood necklace, and has on blue jeans and a white Hawaiian t-shirt Personality: Friendly and eccentric, he has a deep faith in the goodness of humanity and tries to help others out whenever possible. However, he has a deep fear of being alone. Origin: Nick lives in Connecticut, and was on his way home from High School when his bus vanished, taking his neighbors and his brother along for the ride. History: Nick's life has always been filled with random events, from strange occurances in school to the odd people he'd meet on vacation and at family reunions, but he's always tried to "go with it". However recently he had a falling out with his younger brother, who dislikes him greatly. The two physically fought and Nick smacked David hard. Now the two aren't speaking...or at least, they weren't until they suddenly vanished in the bus. Alone in bus: Nick wasn't alone, he had his brother and his bro's four best friends with him: Matt Roller, a punkish, cool skater boy who's streetsmart, Dan, a wise and friendly Jewish kid, Avi, a smart Indian with strict parents and Marshall, an Asian-American with great technological knowhow. Nick's best buddy, the geeky and cheerful Matt Tierinni was also on the bos along with a bunch of other kids and the driver. Why take the bus:They were on their way off from the school to be taken to their homes when they vanished.
Nick sat back in his seat and fiddled with the mood necklace around him. His backpack was below, near his foot, and Matt was in the seat in front of him, looking at "Star Trek" novels while David and his friends chatted away.
Nick turned on his Ipod and plugged in, allowing the tunes of Everlife to fill him with a sense of calm and happy joy. He looked over at David, who briefly glanced in his direction before glaring and turning away. Nick promptly stuck out his tongue at David before returning to the song.
It had been a sad day for him. His favorite teacher, Mrs. Spencer, was retiring this year, she had announced it in Homeroom. And he'd recently learned that Sammy, a dear old acquaintance from Elementary School, had drowned in his bathtub. Nick had cried a little hearing that, Sammy had been a good, innocent kid, mentally challenged or not he hadn't deserved that.
He looked out the window to his left and sighed. How soon...how soon it would be until he was away from home and at college...away from everything he loved. He loved his hometown and everything around it, he...he didn't want to leave it behind.
Then something strange, something weird happened. The bus was about to enter a cloud filled with shining lights of every different color. Nick suddenly was filled with a sense of amazement...but then he realized this wasn't right. Something terrible was going to happen.
He was at the back of the bus. The driver was jamming on the brakes but he wasn't stopping soon enough. Nick leapt up and grabbed at the emergency exit's red handle, ripping it up and opening the exit.
"RUN!" He screamed.
David, his friends, he and Matt, they all ran for the exit, as did the others while the driver swerved. It was a desperate attempt.
Then everything went black...
And Nick remembered...nothing more...
