Elander's voice went cold and angry. "Oh, great. I can't be cursed because of my attitude? You have no idea how much I'd give or do just to be normal, you idiot. Just because you moan about your cursed existance and sulk behind barrels, hiding yourself from the world, while I go out at try to make the best of my predicament, even though I know at heart all I want is to be normal... ok? Do you get it now? And you stink too.. lettuce and cheese. You're a vegetarian?" Elander wrinkled her face in disgust. Then she turned around, changed into a wolf and bounded back into the forest in a bad mood. She hated thinking about what she could have had if she'd led a normal life. She'd only visited that guy for fun. Trust him to spoil her day. And did she really reek of blood? She sniffed herself, but only found Zekeal's scent on her. Maybe that was what had smelled of blood. Strange. Anyway, she'd better get back to the Inn before Zekeal returned.
Zekeal now raised an eyebrow in amusent. "Elander, make a great friend. I guess you don't know her that well yet then. Thankyou for the offer, but we'd prefer an Inn. And my hunting patterns are none of your business. But I guess, since you have your companion here to see ahead for you, you don't give much regard for other's privacy. And.. joining you? Why on earth would we ever consider it?" he spoke cooly and serenly, but couldn't help the last part coming out in a snarl of anger, before turning on his heel as if to leave. He spoke over his shoulder. "Am I allowed to go? Or have you forseen I stay here?" he spat irritably at Beth.

Page immediately felt bad for making her run off...hadn't she said she wanted to be normal?
Wait...he was a healer. Granted he couldn't heal himself, but...perhaps he could heal HER...
He quickly put his cloak on and made his way up to the roof, flying through the air, trying to follow her scent.

"Actually, after you and your friend stop being so sour, then you will.", she said, smiling then going back to playing something more up beat.
Vince just shrugged and went back to reading.

(is it to late to join in?)
RPGang Name: TheSimpleCurse Name: Melchior Demus Nick-Name: Mel Age: 21 Gender: male Race: Were-wolf Hair Color: green Eye Color: blue Appearance: A white button down shirt with black pants and dark brown boots. He carries a bag over his shoulder most of the time and around his neck is a cross. His grey hair is quite shaggy and the length ends just below the shoulders he’s built almost thin but has a muscular tone to himself. Picture #1: none Picture #2: none (just imagine a silver wolf with streaks of green running through his fur Bio: He can be quite bitter, but he can also be quite warm. He always seems to be acting tough and seems to always want to fight anyone male or female that looks at him the wrong way after all, he hasn’t been a creature of the dark for very long History: Melchior was almost a priest. He was raised in the church and by the book of the church. He was even given the name Melchior after one of the holy wise men of the stories of long ago. Abandoned as a baby on the churches door step he was instantly taken in to practice their faith. But one night during a trip to perform an exorcism something jumped him and suddenly he began to transform into a monster. He was then a creature of the darkness. He hated that the lord had punished him after he had been so true with his faith and wondered where he had gone wrong. He now keeps his book of the faith close with him and wears proudly the symbol of the faith around his neck as a reminder of who he was and hopes now that this is just another obstacle he needs to overcome.
Melchior was now walking out church that seemed to just end its most recent mass. He paused looking back at it and gripped the cross around his neck just once and then let his hands fall to the side with a sigh. Passages from his book played out in his head but then he tried shaking those away and headed farther through the town adjusting his bag as an evening breeze carrying an odd scent crossed his nose that almost had the power of a wolf. He gritted his teeth for a second almost as a triggered defense and quickly he was off after the scent as fast as what he considered his human form could carry him. If there were others around perhaps there was a sanctuary for the rest of the night close by too he prayed to himself.

Zekeal snorted and left, returning to the Inn where Elander sat sulking in the room. He opened it and went in. "I've paid for a week.." Elander started, but Zekeal shook his head like it didn't matter. "I met company today. Two vampires who want us to join them. Let's get out of this village, I don't want to mix with others, and I'm sure you agree with me." he said with an air of finality, reaching for his bag to pack. Elander stayed still. "Well, maybe they are trying to help?" she said softly. "I don't care if they are. Start packing," "No. Zekeal, this could be our chance to have a real life! Not just wandering like.. savages." "The female had seen us. In the future. They know our names, what we do, everything." Elander looked uncertain, but quickly smothered it before Zekeal could notice. This was their one chance, and she wasn't going to let him blow it. "That's a good thing. They might understand us, and no-one else can. Whether you are or not, I'm staying, Zekeal." The was a cold silence. Since the two had met, Zekeal had been trying to shake off Elander, telling her she shouldn't live this way with someone like him. But she'd faithfully stuck, and Zekeal, although he never said, was glad she had. If she thought he had hope, maybe there was a little. So should he let her go and live with them? Or should he demand she stay with him? Or.. go with her? "Zekeal, we don't have to stay permanently. Just test it out, for a month or whatever." Elander said quietly, seeing the rush of complicated emotions run over Zekeal's face. It had been cruel of her to say that she'd leave him. She'd never do that. He had been stupid to believe it. That he had so easily hurt her a little. "Whatever," Zekeal said shortly, "Just a week, though, and then we'll scarper." He continued packing. Elander cheered silently for her victory, and stuffed her belongings into her grey bag. It didn't long; there wasn't much. Just a few spare garments. Her most precious belongings were hidden in a pouch around her neck. Momentos of times when Zekeal had hinted he'd liked having her there. Telling her to keep faith. She could change him, and she would. Slinging the bag over her shoulder, she followed Zekeal out of the Inn, making their way to the house. Zekeal rapped on their door again, with a severe air of defeat and despair.

An inn. Her scent was at an inn. But so was that smell of blood...
Well, if it was a creature of the night, he could deal with it. He looked around the top of the roof to find the chimney, then peeked down.
...too small. He frowned, then headed to the end of the roof and decided there was only one way to do this...sniff her out and then fly down to her room via the window. He put his nostrils to the air, honing in on the woman's scent and getting ANOTHER scent as well.
For some reason, it smelled almost like...wet dog? Wet WILD dog too...

Mel wound up standing in front of the Inn looking at the building sniffing at the air and then looked around adjusting the strap on his bag and then stepped back a few feet and then leaped for the roof of the Inn landing on the balls of his feet.

Mel saw Page freak out and made him stumble and hit the roof with his chin hard. "Man..." he cursed and then saw Page through his blurry vision "Who in god's name are you?" he asked curiously "you have angelic wings." he offered and placed his hand on the cross around his neck. "Some kinda sign?"

Vince walked to the door this time, opening it and walking back to his book. Beth grinned softly still playing the same song as when Zeek left. "Told you, you would come around. You both have rooms on the second story.", She said, building up the piece slowly, then dying it down suddenly.
Vincent looked over the book at Zeek, "If you would like something to read, there is plently in the library. Maybe even something that might help you understand us."
"There is dad, the book on the War of the Roses. Should do just fine. Oh, and Elandar, there is a new wardrobe of clothing for you.", Beth said brightly, standing in her dancing fashion, like always, "If you would like help, call."

"I...I was...cursed...with this form." Page said, looking down and covering his face. "I am so ashamed of what I am. I do not feel like an angel at all, though I...though I look like one. I feel only like a sinner."

ooc//Please call him Zekeal not Zeek. Well, you can call him Zeke, but it's spelt like that rather than with the double ee. Sorry to be fussy!
bic//Elander, despite being forwarned by Zekeal, was a bit alarmed by Beth's forwardness, like she already knew Elander. She supposed she already did, in a way. She shifted her weight awkwardly. "Err.. I'm alright with my clothes." she muttered. What she didn't mention is the clothes Beth was wearing, how her wardrobe would be, wasn't Elander's style at all. It seemed, after being a street beggar, and then a rogue shapeshifter, she had lost alot of her feminity. She walked like a man, fought like a man, talked like a man. Women were supposed to be meek, delicate.. Beth, though she wasn't meek, was pretty and elegant. Elander, for the first time in a long time, thought of herself as dirty and clumsy. She lifted her head again at Beth. "Thanks, anyway. I'll go.. take a bath then, shall I?" she smiled, making an effort to be friendly.
Zekeal stood surlily at her side. He shrugged. "I don't really care about us. In fact, I rather hate .. us." He stated coldly. Elander shuffled nervously. "Could you show me the bathroom?" she spoke into the awkward silence. Well, it was true.. Zekeal hated vampires. He hadn't exactly asked to be one.. She should have guessed he'd be like this.. she shouldn't have forced him into it. Ah well. Perhaps he'd relax a bit when Beth's weird too-much-knowledgey sentances kept making him tense. Not that it was her fault. It had taken a long time for Elander to always know what to say and what not to around Zekeal.

Mel stood up and walked over to Page and placed his hand on the top of his head and closed his eyes and smiled. "You feel abandoned. Betrayed. Ashamed of what you are. You feel like you've chosen the proper paths and followed his words to the letter but yet here you are in a terrible form and cursed with darkness..." he offered. This creature in front of him had the same air that was around Mel himself. "We're not being punished, we're being tested my brother, never forget that." he offered.
His eyes then went wide there were more creatures of the darkness close by very close by. "Why are you up here?" he asked quickly eyes scanning the area.

Page rubbed his eyes free of tears and stood up. "I've followed the scent of one who apparently was cursed in a manner like mine. Due to my healing powers, I think I may be able to help her become normal once more."

Beth danced over to Elander, taking her hand. "I will show you. And don't worry about the styling of the clothing, it isn't like mine.", she said softly.
Vince smiled softly, "When Beth spoke of us, she means that I am the last... living... part of house Tudor. You can read up on why we are they way we are."
Beth lead Elander up the stair case and to the only bathroom on the floor. The bath and sink were made of pure white ivory, with silver inlay. The three doors were red oak with silver handles. Turning to Elander, Beth said softly, "... Please take as long as you would like, if you need anything, please call...", then turned to leave her be.
